Pros & Cons

Pros

The super slinky paradigm strings do amazing in standard. They are nano coated and after playing these for about 30 days, have held up quite well. The strings are very stable, and i can strum as hard as i want and not worry about breaking a string.

Overall, they sound slightly more muted (not muted. With a better tensile strength and a better fatigue strength and using the erbieball super slinky's for so long and changing to the paradigm was a breeze.

You know you usually can't go wrong with ernie ball -- and these didn't disappoint. Rather than the silky smooth feel of standard slinkys, the feel has a distinct plastic feel.

The hybrid on all my electric guitars except for 1 gibson sg that is tunes to c# which i use a paradigm 11-54 for heavier musick. For me, tone-wise, these blow away the former d'addario strings. The sound is a perfect balance of feel and tone.

Cons

For the exuberant price they aren’t worth it. Not sure why as these are designed to be exceptionally durable. Within the 90 day warranty it states it can be void if broken due to wear and tear.

Personally i went back to the slinky version

I could definitely tell an increased brightness however that added to the slightly longer longevity these strings get did not offset the increased cost

These are also stiffer as compared to their slinky counterparts so harder to bend if thats your thing

In my opinion these also had less attack in palm mutingdropped tuning situations which was a deal breaker

    Try the hybrid because its half of a 10 set your low e is 46 a is 36 d is a 26

So it feels right but with the high e 9 you can really bend the hell outta of it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Ive tried just about every major brand over the years and nothing comes close to the ernie ball paradigms and 15 bucks a pop there a steal cus they last 3x times as long

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Strings start to go bad as soon as they are out of the package and these have retained their new quality for a long time
