This 8 foot length of rod is not easily just insert eight foot long rod into the ground and connect 6ga wire for a professional let alone for 1st time inserter

You can accomplish about 16 incehes of more depth by drilling a hole with a veryold ebay 58 or 34 wood auger bit

Unfortunately also buried the clamps by mistake they were on the rod so i wouldnt forget where they were and have to get new ones

Turn off the breaker to the circuit you are working on and always avoid touching exposed wires especially the positives or hots even if you think the power is off

I put the rod in the ground about 10 to 12 took the rod back out and poured water in the hole
