Shes also thrown it in the washing machine and its turned out just fine the shape stay the same and all the stains came out

The main waste buckle has an elastic loop to slide the male part though as added security before buckling it into the female end of the buckle

While i can wear my 13 month old in this it wont be long before it would become obsolete as it states the weight limit is 25 pounds

This is a really great product for the price but if you want a nicer ergo or tula you might consider getting it used for this same price off of craigslist or ebay
