Yes they happen to a lot of people and no it was not from wearing tight or high heeled shoes

I have a large plastic mat under my desk where my chair is normally situated and standing at the desk with the elevated keyboard is definitely better from a health perspective but not a very comfortable experience

Previously when i saw people with standing desks the only type of mat i had seen in use is just one that is nice to stand on but only features a completely flat surface

I can see if i was wearing only socks that the bump might provide something for a foot but especially with shoes on this does no good

Thus when i come in from outside or happen to walk throughacross a wet surface i have to wait to stand on it
