They wont go on outside if the solar panel is in the sun light to test it out doors u must cover the solar panel

It could be my area in which i live in wi usa since it is mostly cloudy here in the winter months that when the solar panel does get sun they dont stay on all night long

You have to be so close for the remote to work that you might as well manually do it

I turned off the power to both on the solar panel and installed them anyway leaving them to charge for a couple of days before turning them on
