I think its funny that corporate policy setting behave like an annoying narcoleptic computer prank and this prank devices that is the practical stay awake workaround

Also since its a human interface device hid it will work regardless of whether or not the usb ports are locked out to storage devices or whether or not you have admin access or whatever
