Pros

It's a good weight, not light and flimsy. It’s like an intro to the weighted heavy jump ropes. Good weight to make for challenging cardio sessions.

Cons

Shortening causes a lot of fraying unless you heat seal the ends. I'm not sure if it is an assembly flaw, or false advertising.

I weighed the rope and handles separate and compared the weights to a weighted rope that i have that costs a lot more money

This is comparable to the more expensive rope where the handles weigh 7

I have other weighted jump ropes but the weight is concentrated in the handle bars
