If i water the plant and insert the probe it says wet

If the soil is measured at it gives a reading of 4 and the chart says 1 for a particular plant then the plant shouldnt be watered

The guide says dont water the plant if the reading on the analyzer is higher than the reading in the chart

You might think by looking at the picture that you simply insert the probes into the ground to get a reading but thats not how it works
