I originally thought that the net did not fit the company contacted me right away and told me how to attach the net properly

I suppose you could leave the bottom loose but on the bottom of the net there are two plastic snaps that attach to the fold out d rings that are under the liner in the trunk

Id prefer that the net came with install instructions but take a look at the other reviews and youll see that the the net has loops that go over the cars hooks in the trunk and there are 2 retainers mounted in the floor

Pretty much a perfect fit a clip that keeps the top stretch strings together on the end popped the very second i installed it
