The river bass in maine pumps iron on a daily basis. Only complaint is the little ring at the top of the reel screw came loose and rattles. Looks great paired with my casting reel that has gold accents as well.

Need a rod for light taps seems good for that but can handle a 20 lb rockfish or catfish and a 5 lb spade which fight like a 30lb rock
