Pros

The handle is simplistic but still comfortable, allowing for many different grip styles and cutting techniques. The weight is great and it's well balanced. It is nice and light, balanced, and easy to grip.

Great all around chef knife. My teenager loves to cook.

The box is simple, the sheath keeps it nice and secure, and the knife is pretty sharp. The knife is super sharp and it’s beautiful.

True damascus layering with the vg10 core sharpens like a dream. I just give it a quick strop after every few uses and it’s good as new. This is by far the sharpest knife i’ve ever worked with.

Works well for nimble blade feel and precision control near tip. The handle is much heavier than the blade so it can be a little tiring for lots of cutting.

Cons

The finish that arrived looks very stamped and cookie cutter. The stamps are so deep they will catch a fingernail on the edges. The biggest concern is the hammered finish.

This chef’s knife is naturally the one i reach for most i also own and love a wusthof chef knife but the enso is my preferred daily knife

Super sharp very pretty and maintains an edge slightly longer than other brands even at higher price points

The vg10 steel on our first enso holds its edge well and i’m sure there will be no difference with this one
