Beautiful knife and razor sharp out of the box i can’t wait to sharpen it myself
Competitiveness
This chef’s knife is naturally the one i reach for most i also own and love a wusthof chef knife but the enso is my preferred daily knife
Many companies make knives that are more asthetically pleasing than useful in actual practice making them great gifts
Surprisingly to me enso feels overall a little heavier than my wusthof classic santuko
The vg10 steel on our first enso holds its edge well and i’m sure there will be no difference with this one

I’ve sharpened enso once not because it was dull but because the edge didn’t look to be exactly 5050 our of box not a big deal to me

I prefer japanese style blades and materials but european style handles so if i were to “complain” about one thing it would be the handle but that’s just personal preference

The only down side is that the sharpness didn’t last long
