There is nice backlighting which can be enabled or disabled. It is easy to use with the dual laser markings. She is somewhat technology challenged, but this device is very simple to use.
Love the case. Seller is kind enough to follow up with you, and make sure you understand the product. Real good product. Super happy with this purchase.
The thermometer does the job! Will update my review after that. Excellent instructions. Awesome gun.

The buttons on the back could be a little more like 34temperature guns for dummies34 but overall its a good product

Testing the finished and unfinished areas on that side with the gun i found a 20 to 30 degree difference

The emissivity setting seems like it would be useful for scientific applications but you have to know what your target values are or have a way to calibrate it with an accurate contact thermometer

For instance i could go around the radiant heat floor and basically trace where the hot water tubes were located
