On the first try the formatting software gparted went into an endless loop

Once i had all drives reformatted i copied a file to each one in turn opened it to make sure it copied correctly all of them did then deleted the test files

Got the 8gb usb disks only used one so far successfully created windows10 repair usb on it

Bought to send off a of pictures to some family members more than could send conveniently via email nor are all tech savvy

What i have found is that all my blue pen drives are faulty

Note that these flash drives have a red activity led that can be seen through the case except with the blue and black cases those block the red led activity light but there is a hole on the end where it can be observed
