If you can deal with a slight delay when flipping your switch, then this is the way to go. I have 2 of the honeywell / jaysco switches that handle the position issue by being spring loaded so the toggle deflects up or down and returns to the middle.
The wire size 18 awg is correct for the line and load for the 10 a rating. I use the legrand adorne switches, which are a little thicker than a standard switch. The wiring guidelines were clear to me.
The built in wiring leads makes this a simple install. Installation is on par with any switch or outlet. Hooks up easy and connected easily with my samsung hub.
Cons
The double switches seem to be tasked with more than they can handle, and as a result are very glitchy. Thought is was defective so bought another. For useful application, i'm sticking to known brands.
The input lead apparently changes state like a momentary switch rather than changing state when the high is applied and held (latched) it's mounted in a light that is about 20 ft off the ground, so i'm not sure i can trust it to perform.
