It is important to note though that if you have the iphone 7 you must have the headphone jack adapter in order to play music and you cannot play music and charge your phone at the same time

There is an aux jack on this mount that needs to plug into the phone in order to synch up with your stereo and the new iphones require an adapter as they do not have that port built in

Not a big deal but if you are on a long car trip and are playing music the entire time you might have to take a break from the music in order to charge your phone

Its a sturdy design and stays where you want it to the sound quality is ok obviously not amazing but the big thing problem is the headphone jack is angled so if your phone has any sort of case it wont reach and cannot be connect whilst in the holder
