There are flat surfaces on the end which you might think would keep it from rolling but the overall shape of the phone make it so that these never make contact with the surface theyre on

Also the bottom is rounded so you cant stand the flashlight straight up

Love this light has three settings high medium and strobe and no telelscoping end for concentrating light in distafnce u dont need it has slight flood look with most of light being in center in distance great light for money need to edit review not long after this review light quit working went from shining to not turning on at all did not dim like it was losing charge it just stopped working period

I held back one start because in order to turn it off while its on you have to cycle through the other settings hi lo flash before it actually turns off and the button isnt always responsive

This one has nothing to assist carrying like if it had a strap hook or clasp connection point
