This 35w equivalent bulb is substantially cheaper than its 50w version but shows a strong clear light and in no way looks weak on my spotlight rack of energy efficient bulbs

One thing to note if youre thinking of making the change is that i had to get an electrician to change my light fittings because the led bulbs were buzzing in the previous fitting because they were an old model

Lifespan of the bulb is affected by the number of times it is switched on and off but with a quoted 40000 onoff cycle life expectancy i doubt thatll have a huge impact in most circumstances

This looks more like a conventional bulb than many of the led bulbs where you can see multiple individual leds

The cool white is more of a bright white like being outdorrs or someone has a powerful bright torch

Most led bulbs are not compatible with dimmer switches and cannot be dimmed

If you want to use a dimmer or you have more than one light switch on any one light source you will need the dimmable options because of the tiny amount of power required to emit light from these bulbs and the way the circuit works the non dimmable option flashes at around one every couple of seconds when switched off and this is very annoying the dimmable option prevents this from happening
