The other 2 types of sockets control only and monitor only do not appear to suffer as bad

With these units on there is a highpitched tinnitus sound and whilst they do work well ive had to resort to using them where im not spending any consistent amount of time ie

Also be aware that these units only work with the mihome gateway they do not work with the handheld remote control that energenie provide with the mihome gateway and other products

Control is only possible via the push button on the unit or via your mihome gateway either through the mihome portalwebsite or phone app

Update i can confirm all 3 units of this type suffer from coil whine which is disappointing
