The door itself is quite difficult for a dog to open straight out of the box

I contacted the company after reading another buyers review here and they sent two video links on how to reduceremove the magnets in the flap and the frame that make the door much easier to open

First i wanted to put it on both inner and outer parts of the doors

Secondly it was jammed into the box and all crumbly and when i tried to heat it up with a hair dryer it still did not relax

The door is nice looking installed and no drafts at all around the flap

I also set it in the track toward the inside edge of the door and used 34 plastic filler molding to keep it securely in place around the outer edges

The flap is cloudy so they cant see where they are stepping and former one was clear

Ive had a dog door that went though a regular door in my kitchen for 8 years it was ok but truly showing its age the flap wouldnt even close fully anymore the plastic was all stretched out ripping and gaping where it met the bottom of the frame
