This is a wonderful review if you haven't worked in pastels for a while. Even though it is not 'comprehensive,' there is enough little pointers scattered about the book to be a worthwhile read and reference.

This is not your typical artsncrafts sort of howto book for someone who doesnt even know how to pick up a pencil this is a great book for proartists and hobbyists alike

As i mentioned earlier this is not really geared towards someone who has no knowledge of pastels or hasnt really spent time using them understanding their textures etc
