Pros
The mattress itself is awesome. I wish it was darker color though. Got a lovely paper crane and thank yous from them.
It's just like the futon i slept on at the little old lady's house in japan. Was insanely comfortable all night and had that cozy feeling in the morning. If you're waiting for a futon cover or want a substitute, it wraps nicely in a flat queen sheet.
This futon replaces an old extra-firm mattress, which last 5 years because the mattress is single-sided. He says this is much more comfortable, yet the firmness is still supportive.
This mattress is the answer to my prayers for the chronic backache i always had. My partner has a sensitive back and has been sleeping on a yoga mat. Comfort / pain relief is subjective and everyone feels differently.
Cons
When lying on it, my spine is not straight. Very uncomfortable.
