I plugged it in it thought for a second then went about setting the time and date you have to set the time zone if not on eastern

You can set the time manually if you like your clocks set ahead

It wasn’t too hard but if you want this for a guest room or guest house find someone thing simpler because someone off the street will not be able to figure how to set it

There are a couple of no name clocks with very high reviews but wanted to stick with a known brand

My 2 main complaints mentioned in other reviews are 1 its not easy to program and if you forget you have to keep the manual the good news is once you setup your favorite radios and alarms the first time there isnt much of a need to keep setting it up 2 if you are setting up the alarm with the radio it gets very loud very quickly and there is no way to cap the sound volume like the manual stated
