Pros

Each box has 6 little ziploc bags of mg in it. There's so much in the packaging. Well packed individual kits.

Cons

These will not be incorporated into my bag. Very difficult to light ( even with a torch). Once ignited, product burn at a high rate but burns out fast. Shavings likely to course.

The serious outdoors person should always be prepared and this kit is a great start for your bug out bag or backpack

It lit right up every time and the fire got started right up

The flint striker works well and the magnesium got my fire going right away using maybe 10 of one of the bags

Potential priceless would order again as needed ferro rod works well as far as striker

The kit came with the ferro rodstriker and all nicely packaged

Each box has 6 little ziploc bags of mg in it and we used probably 14 of a bag each time and that was plenty
