There is a slight hum that comes from the fan when it's on but it is only very slight. It is very quiet and a bargain at the cost and a lot cheaper than buying a new console.

Nonetheless it did the trick i mounted this to the top of a network cabinet where a dualport usb plug was present in one of the free power distribution slots effectively using it to run these fans only

Have fitted two into rear of hifi cabinet to extract heat from amplifiers cant detect any interferencehum though they are not completely silent wasnt expecting total silence anyway
