I like the glassy glassyness of the bowls, the rubber is attractive and prevents shattering, but the kids are cheap, flimsy and designed to fail.

Going glass and these are very sturdy and easy to clean

Ive had my first batch for 2 years now 2 of them still brand new with plastic

It does not leak and if you accidently leave food in it on the counter just being a busy girl the container does not smell at all

I loved seeing them on sale for prime day

The price was better years ago of course but these are worth the cost

I love the way it came packaged and also appreciate that i can put them in the oven without the rubber of course for easy meal prep

Apparently my son forgot that aspect of a glass container and threw it all out instead of saving the other parts for me

I had previously bought elllo brand containers similar to these which i loved

I have tried others and so far this one is the one i loke the most

However there could be a difference from the original sets to todays sets

I bought a set of these at costco for a similar price

    She has memory issues so i wanted something she couldn’t melt in the microwave wouldn’t burn her if she grabbed it while hot sturdy and nontoxic but also not as likely to break if dropped and good grip so less likely to be dropped in the first place oh and could go in the freezer too

    I dont know about ello ware specifically but silicone tends to fade when exposed to heat or standing water for extended periods and i would hate to accidentally damage this beautiful cookserve ware
