Bristles all in the wrong direction. Sticky residue left after removing large prominent manufacturer's label. Tried soaking and detergent to remove remaining 9x5cm sticky area.

I tried a light scouring pad all to no avail

I am currently soaking the brush to try to remove the glue from the sticker
