Pros

They last an incredibly long time and retain their tone astonishingly well. I hope this review doesn't disappoint.

The plastic coating protects the string from sweaty hands and moisture. The poly web coating makes playing more enjoyable.

Cons

Some of these packs are chinese counterfeits. First string snapped like a twig under very minimal tension. I would have to conclude that not only are the strings defective, customer service is poor.

Elixir strings are not good for metal. My guitar buzzes and hums so loudly with these strings that the tone is ruined. These are ok, but i'm going back to my go to ziko strings; better sound and significantly better https://www.

It just makes me wonder if the ones i received are legit as another reviewed had wondered as well. Goin back to dr's. Over the years i keep hoping elixir is going to surprise me but they continue to disappoint.
