The highs shimmer & are well defined, the lows are smooth and deep. Even when it gets old it retains the most bright snapy sound to the end. Depends on preference and type of acoustic guitar.

This is the only string brand, gauge, and composite metal that sounds completely true to my liking for my guitar. My yamaha fg800 sounds fantastic with this strings. These strings stay crisp and clean for many months of playing at home.

Amazon needs to put another option in the returns and refund section to give buyers and sellers more options to resolve issues such as this. They are very dark colored without any coating on them like they should.
