It's nuthin' fancy, but i don't need anything really upscale. Any rotten reviews of this kit are full of *. Really though, not much especially for the price, it's phenomenal.

Good, very detailed, instructions (download them from elenco and read them before buying this kit). The instruction are very good. The documentation is excellent.

You need a decent soldering iron with a variable temperature control. You need to free-hand solder wires to the leads of the binding posts and to-220 regulators. Good soldering technique is required to accomplish this part properly. Just took my time ... Read More

The 5vdc regulator is solid. The 3amp/5vdc output makes an awesome fast phone charger. I suspect it will go down with the 5v constant rail hooked up.

Cons

Expect zero customer service from this seller. The instructions caution the assembler to be careful not to let the legs short together.

You cant come anywhere near a quality trirail psu at the 120130 mark

Price

The only thing you will miss is a voltagecurrent readout but i cant really complain at this price

Pretty basic multioutput supply at the time i purchased price was decent

Packaging/appearance

As is its a solid good value kit right out of the box

The reason to buy this kit is primarily because they did the work of packaging it into a nice solid case with a good heatsink

Competitiveness

The only reason i didnt give it a 5star rating was the overly awkward nature of putting the kit together

You may want to have some extra of your own onhand

Just watch out for the way drok samples current

I will need to spend more time trouble shooting or maybe contacting the manufacturer
