As far as the ends blowing apart its probably not a good idea to leave the hose charged with pressure and laying in the sun

My hoses were a replacement under warranty from swan of two hoses i had for many many years and the hose jacket finally fell apart

The hose ends are heavy duty and we’ve had no problem connecting or disconnecting them as some have complained
