Bought this as a prop but was surprised by the quality of the mic

Its a bit quiet so you need to be very close which isnt a problem for be because i record audio dramas but i wouldnt recommend it for group work unless each person has an individual mic

I will eventually upgrade to a better one but it works much better than a standard pc mic or one built in to your laptop

It does come with the cord to connect it and a tripod

The tripod is a little hard to work with at times but once you get it set up it should be fine unless you knock it over so thats why i recommend a microphone standholder seperately

There is a volume slider to determine how much audio you want the mic to pick up which comes in very handy if theres background noise or your voice is to quiet

Need microphone boost 20db or 30db on windows to be somewhat usable which can introduce clipping unless you place the microphone right up against your face

From a distance of a foot the audio levels picked up by this microphone were astonishingly low
