Pros
Cute, small coastal looking lamp. Says beach, coastal all over it. It is adorable, emits great light and the color is great.
It’s exactly as pictured! Smaller than anticipated but matched beautifully. The look outweighs the dislike. Wish it was a bit taller.
Cons
This lamp is not what i expected. You have to use more watts for it to turn on. The glass is very thin and the lamp is so light and fragile i'm afraid it would end up broken on my nightstand.

I took a chance to save money and ordered a usedlike new one and was very pleased
This same lamp was on another site for 60 and i paid 30
Very bright and i got it like half off so it’s a good price

There is a wide hole in the bottom so i can eventually place something inside but then will need to find or fashion a cork or wood stopper for the hole

Cons the glass is a bit thin so could easily break and the twine around the glass is very thin which lends a sort of cheap feel

I did read the reviews before my purchase and wanted it badly enough to accept the base being open and the switch location on the cord

One reviewer shared that she planned to seal the bottom with a cork plug and since another reviewer stated the base had a 334 diameter i also ordered a 334 cork

My concerns that the cork might make the lamp unstable were unfounded because the cork was too small for the 3 1434 opening that i measured on my lamp after the fact

Although no one will ever see the bottom of the lamp i cut a second 3 1434 circle from a colorful piece of scrapbooking paper and glued elmers the paper to the underside of the cardboard
