Memory stick is fine its the stupid green android adaptor i plugged it in and plugged in usb memory stick which i had pre loaded with films

Samsung phone recognised and listed all files and played no problems but phone got really hot and battery went from 97 to 47 in a few minutes

I restarted phone after removing green thing and examining the socket for foreign or metallic items or shorts on the contacts

Then replaced battery and rebooted phone which continues to overheat and is sluggish to use

Was doing some upgrades on a hp pavilion yesterday and used this device to backup data all worked fine until reboot had to remove the stick before it would boot
