It does have a cut in the top layer for the cpu to vent that is not shown in the picture

As others have stated there are no instructions but that good news is the order of the plates can be switched to account for a heatsink on the processor as well as the fan

Basically the 2nd and 3rd to last need to reversed with the plate that mounts the fan as the 2nd to last on the case
