We have four large insideoutside dogs two of which are golden retrievers and live out in the country with a doggy door so you can imagine the amount of dirt and dog hair i have to vacuum up every week with this

It fits the vacuum hose just like the one that came with the vacuum however it doesnt clip onto the vacuum where the original one does

Works very well on my dc40 although the included adapter doesnt offer much range for fitting different tube sizes

I removed one star because the bristles do not extend very far out of the housing so you have to make sure it is at the right angle to ensure contact between the bristles and whatever you are vacuuming
