It also warms up pretty fast when you put it on the highest level, then you can lower it as you please.

The only reason i have a lower rating was due to the cord being on the bottom of the pad, to adjust the heat or turn on, it would seem that the cord should be longer so you can control from a sitting/laying position.

I have tried to take a regular type heating pad that was extra long to wrap around my feet but this did not work too well.

Bought this to replace 2 other foot warmers: 1 flat carpet, 1 hard plastic.

Having a 'pocket' you can slip your feet into makes this a superior design for warming the whole foot, not just the bottom.
