This is a quality instrument regardless of price. The tuning pegs/strings are not at all broke in, but after about 4 hours of playing the bass holds a tune quite well. Tuning keys cheap but working.

Cons

Reviewer says the instrument is fragile and needs a lot of prep work before it is reliable. The holes in the saddle are too small for any replacement strings. The strings hover too high over the fret board.

The guitar feels cheap. It should have been priced between $40-$50. The volume knob is loose and feels like it may break at any time. They seem cosmetic, but as this was supposed to be one of his christmas gifts it may be going back.

Plays really good for a great price

I got this for less than 100

All in all a hundred bucks well spent

Shipping

Fed ex shipping was a couple of days later than promised

I had an issue and contacted the seller and within moments he responded and quickly took care of me without question

Packaging/appearance

Glad it arrived safely considering the packaging

It came well packaged with a peel off plastic pick guard cover

Out of the box it looks beautiful

Competitiveness

I was still able to order neckstraps and a gig bag for less than other acoustic basses

Ive tried guitars 10 times the price of this and while they were definitely better they were no where near 10 times better

I could deal with those but the ones along the fretboard were deal breakers
