Pros
I would recommend this cord to anyone who works with power tools. Has held up reliably so far. The last one we had finally gave out, after several years of service, and this replacement is exactly the same.
It's great to walk into the room and instantly see the step-on switch. Helped with mobility limited seniors to easily turn on lamps. It's safer too - i no longer have to worry about accidentally cutting through the cord.
Cons
The foot button is totally useless as it is only about 2'from where you plug it into wall. Very disappointed.

It is worth knowing that the foot switch on this extension cord is about halfway down its length of 10 so you have about 5 from the switch to the lamp

Some customers may want to invest in some alien tape or other nonslip stuff to attach to the bottom of the pedal because its surely going to slip and slide all over the place with use
