Pros

The lantern lights up a golden color, the glitter swirls slowly and sparkles with a rainbow variety of twinkles. I love that is has a timer option and that the sparkles are always floating around. The light twinkle.

Music box mode is an always 'on' when you switch it to that selection, music, lights and swirling glitter. Music is a little tinny but it is an inexpensive gift. I bought 2, the snowman and the angel.

Cons

The fan or pump that moves the glitter is not powerful enough and the glitter only goes 2/3 of the way to the top, resulting in the top third being clear and the bottom two thirds having too much glitter making it difficult to see the figurine.

The plug to run this off of ac power either has a loose wire inside or the plug is too loose, because it won't stay powered on. It plays music tunes but there is no volume control and it is way too loud.
