The book covers everything from the underlying distribute system internals to design to sophisticated querying to administrationmaintenance

As a big software book this one covers quite a few of its features inside of a shard various searchabilities human language administration and deployment are all explained at length

One down side as mentioned by others is that some of the examples are dated and you might have to tweak the keywords to get them to work

The only disappointing piece for me was that this book didn’t covered some key features getting deprecated in 6

This is a good languageagnostic way to present the material but be aware that youll have to go back and read the online documentation to learn how to work with your client language of choice
