However i am not sure what i will do when i have to take it off for laundry and reattach since the pins i am sure will come apart if removed

He had to help me with the old ruffles when i washed them moving the mattress and when id put the ruffles back on i was continually moving them to adjust them because when you put the mattress back on top of them they would moved around
