Up the gain on your receiver audissey set them up for me way too low

The distance you put on the receiver is the distance between the receiver and the reflection point not in a straight line

It just sort of figures it out and leaves it up to you to fine tune it

I raised the output by about 5 db on them and that seemed to enhance the sound

For games you dont need atmos specific encoding for them to work

I used them with both a ps4 and xbox one x and with the ps4 there is no atmos support yet games like horizon zero dawn and bloodborne neither of which have atmos encoding produce great ambiant sounds from these speakers

Birds and windtrees etc and other random environmental sounds come through these but bigger sounds and dialogue do not so it seems like the receiver will fall back and send out whatever surround sound data it has to them
