There is something about a good wool blanket that smokes the others. These include a pendleton yakima camp blanket at 3x the price.

I was taught to buy quality at economical (not cheap) prices. This is 100% wool and the tight weaving is impressive. I am struck nearly speechless.

Cons

Have to use a vinyl poncho tarp over the blanket to stay warm. This product comes from factory in india with a chemical stench. I can only assume to be to keep bugs and rodents away.

The odor is so strong ( maybe it’s the wool, processing chemicals or washing process ) that i put it out in the garage til i could return it. Smells like it was used to soak up some kind of fuel. Tried washing several times but can't get the smell out... Read More
