The order of the directions is wrong as you must install primary chimney prior to hanging on wall as the screws are situated between wall and unit

There is a plastic grease capcover that must be installed above center baffle on the squirrel cage housing but is not shown in instructions either

I did retro in a stud into the wall behind it so it’s mounted to a stud not just drywall with the provided anchors that seems sketchy at best

I had to rip out a cabinet and a microwave to install and run duct outside so it’s not for everyone but if you’re handy it’s not that bad

The first range vent i purchased stopped working after a few weeks
