Pros

The one from qvc opens when you walk in front of it. There is a light indicator to see the “countdown” to how long you have before it shuts.

Note to engineers, this tears every overprice trash bag (their branded bags) that goes into the trashcan. It is very simple to change the trash bag and replace the lid. Fits regular costco 13 gal trash bags.

The hard plastic liner is perfect for tall trash can liners. There's an option to keep the lid open so the consumer has time to put things in the can without the lid repeatedly closing.

The new trashcan combines functionality with a visually appealing design. The automatic opening/closing feature works really well.

Cons

The sensor on the trash bin no longer works; i purchased two small models and one 50-liter model. This is not good for us since we live overseas, and it takes 3 weeks to get this item. The odd thing is the dent is from the inside out.

I got mine on monday and its large enough that trash has been put in it for 4 days without the need to empty it

I subtracted one star because it arrived with a small dent

I think this was a result of not properly packing the trash can

It is a shame that it got dented but it is not very noticeable so i will keep it

I paid a little extra for the trash can with the inside container based on another review and i’m so happy i did
