Since my old white plastic trash can just didnt look right sitting by it i searched amazon to see if they actually made a trash can in this same finish

If you accidentally block it or hit it with your hand when it is opening or closing causing the lid to open only half way next time you can press and hold down the close button for 5 seconds and it resets the lid

The 2 downsides there is a handle for the can on the side that sticks into the interior making removing even a half full bag tricky

Also the motor housing is prone to getting dirty from throwing things out ours is in the kitchen so food particles and other debris need to be cleaned off it often
