Pros

Easy to "corkscrew" into my geobin with leaves and scraps inside. Seems sturdy. It grabs onto the bottom and middle layers and lets you pull them up to the surface. It does a good job of carrying compost from the bottom of the pile to the top.

    It doesnt move a lot of compost at a time so it is better for smaller residential compost piles like mine

    On the negative side its made of two pieces that are joined by a ferrule that is held in place by two screws

    It does take a fair bit of pressure to get this thing to the bottom of the pile and its also subjected to stress when being turned to raise the bottom of the pile to the top
