It has a long and flexible cord that is detachable from the pad so you can wash the pad in the wash
I can easily disconnect the control panel see pic and the cloth part seems pretty easy to get washed in the washer too

I do wish the buttons had a better tactile sense of which is which so that if i was using the heating pad in the dark i would instantly know what button i’m touching

Like a raised down arrow for lower temperature instead of an indented one

Which was the problem with my other one from different seller it won’t warm up enough even at the max level
