Pros

The rubberized grip makes it much safer in my opinion. It is safe to use, because the blade retracts fully into the holder. The holder is big enough to grip and give good leverage for scraping.

Works great and love that the blade can be retracted. Slide mechanism has two one for regular use and one that pushes it further out for replacing the blade. You need to use it at the correct angle for the easiest debris removal.

This is great for removing baked-on grease. After removing the hard crud i use my usual cleaning product and my stovetop looks new.

Cons

Plastic scraper is junk and totally ineffective. The latch that holds the blade in the out position is not very strong. When you actually try to use the blade after clicking it into place, it pushes back inside of the sheath.

It puzzles me these got some positive reviews. Convenient size, but the razor blade is not held in securely and keeps falling out. Not very sharp. Thin and flimsy.
